Colored bars often come from the display or switcher itself when it’s not receiving a valid video signal from the device. This could be due to:

• Device not outputting video (e.g., it's off or not connected to the internet).
• Incorrect input selected on the switcher.
• Bad HDMI/DisplayPort cable or poor connection.                                                          

Here’s what to do:

1. Bypass the switcher: Connect the device directly to the display. If it works, the switcher is the likely problem.
2. Check source selection on switcher: Make sure the correct input is selected.
3. Check cables: Try different HDMI or DisplayPort cables.
4. Power cycle devices: Restart the device, display, and matrix switcher.

If these steps do not fix the issue, we recommend escalating to your local IT team.
