You can activate an EverPass device either through EverPass Manager or directly from your mobile device by scanning the QR code displayed on screen. Choose the method that works best for you.
Before You Begin
Before activating your device, make sure:
- Your EverPass account has been activated.
- Your EverPass device is connected to the internet.
- You have access to the screen where the device is connected.
- You know which screen you want to assign the device to.
Option 1: Activate a Device in EverPass Manager
Step 1: In the EverPass Manager, select the device icon in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Select the Activate Device Button.
Step 3: Enter the device name (optional) and activation code seen on your screen.
Please note: The 4-digit activation code changes every 5 - 10 minutes. If the code is no longer valid you will get an error code. Please check for a new code and try again.
Step 4: Your device will now appear in your account and be assigned to the location, zone, or screen you selected. From there you can track your device performance and schedule content to be shown, if not already.
Option 2: Activate a Device Using Your Mobile Device
If your screen displays a QR code, you can activate the device directly from your phone.
Step 1: Scan the QR Code
Using your phone's camera, scan the QR code displayed on the activation screen.
You will be directed to the EverPass device pairing page.
Step 2: Sign In
Log in with your EverPass account credentials.
Note: Your account must already be activated before you can pair a device.
Step 3: Select a Screen
After signing in, you'll see a list of available screens associated with your account.
Select the screen you want to assign to the device.
Step 4: Name the Device
Enter a name for the device that will help you identify it later.
Examples:
- Main Bar TV
- Patio TV
- Dining Room Screen 1
Select Confirm to complete pairing.
Once pairing is complete, the device will automatically be associated with your account and selected screen.
Verify Your Device
After activation, you can verify that your device was successfully paired by:
- Logging in to EverPass Manager.
- Navigating to Devices.
- Confirming that the device appears in your device list with the correct screen assignment.
Troubleshooting
The QR Code Won't Scan
- Move closer to the screen.
- Increase your screen brightness.
- Use your phone's built-in camera app rather than a third-party QR scanner.
- Refresh the activation screen and try again.
I Can't Sign In
- Verify you're using the correct EverPass account credentials.
- Reset your password if needed.
- Confirm that your account has been activated.
My Screen Doesn't Appear in the List
- Verify you're logged into the correct account.
- Refresh the page and try again.
- Contact EverPass Support if the screen is still missing.
The Device Is Already Paired
If the device is already associated with another screen or account, contact EverPass Support for assistance.
