The Device Manager in EverPass Manager gives you one place to view device status, manage your device(s) and access tools that can help you prepare for streaming or troubleshoot an issue.
In the Device Manager, you can:
- View whether each device is online, offline or pending installation
- Search for and filter devices
- Rename devices
- Identify which device is connected to each TV
- Run a speed test on each device
- Reboot devices remotely
- Download a report of your device information
Access the Device Manager
- Visit manager.everpass.com from desktop and sign in.
- Select the device icon in the top-right corner of the EverPass Manager.
View your devices
The tabs at the top of the page organize your devices by status, including online, offline and pending installation. You can also access your secure links, which allow you to preview what will appear on your TVs.
Use the search bar to find a device by name or select Filter to narrow the list.
Each row displays the device name, current status, organization, device type and activation date.
Identify a device
Use Identify to determine which EverPass Device is connected to a specific TV. This can be helpful when naming devices or managing a venue with multiple TVs.
- Find the device you want to identify.
- In the Actions column, select the Identify icon.
- Check your TVs to identify the screen connected to that device. Your scheduled content will appear with an “I” icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Reboot a device
You can remotely reboot an online device from the EverPass Manager. Rebooting may help resolve playback or connectivity issues without requiring you to physically access the device.
- Find the device you want to reboot.
- In the Actions column, select the Reboot icon.
- Confirm the reboot if prompted.
The device may appear offline briefly while it restarts. Avoid rebooting a device while it is streaming a live event.
Run a speed test
Run a speed test on each EverPass Device to check the network connection available to that specific device. Testing each device is important because connection speeds can vary throughout your venue.
- Find the device you want to test.
- In the Actions column, select the Speed Test icon.
- Allow the test to finish before reviewing the results.
- Repeat these steps for each EverPass Device.
For the most accurate picture of your network performance, run speed tests during your venue’s busiest hours. Each EverPass Device should have at least 10 Mbps of available bandwidth for a smooth streaming experience.
For additional guidance, visit Internet and Bandwidth Requirements.
Rename a device
Clear device names make it easier to identify screens, schedule live events and manage multiple devices.
Select the pencil icon next to a device name to rename it. For recommended naming conventions, visit the EverPass Device Naming Guide.
