These basic troubleshooting steps can help resolve common issues with the EverPass Connected TV app.
- Confirm Your EverPass Account Is Active
Make sure your EverPass subscription is active and that there are no account-related issues affecting access to content.
- Check for an EverPass App Update
Make sure the EverPass Connected TV app is up to date. If an update is available, install it and then open the app again. See App Updates for more information.
- Force Stop the App
On some Connected TV devices, you can force stop the EverPass app without uninstalling it. This may help if the app is frozen or not responding.
Amazon/Fire TV
- Press the 3 lines button or navigate to it at the top of your Amazon home screen.
- Select settings.
- Select applications.
- Go to Manage Installed Applications.
- Select the EverPass app.
- Press Force Stop.
- Select Clear Cache.
- Relaunch the app.
Android TV / Google TV
- Go to Android home screen.
- Open Quick Settings at the top of the screen.
- Select All Settings.
- Go to Apps.
- Select the EverPass app.
- Press Force Stop.
- Select Clear Cache.
- Relaunch the app.
Amazon/Fire TV app
- Press the 3 lines button or navigate to it at the top of your Amazon home screen.
- Select Settings.
- Select Applications.
- Go to Manage Installed Applications.
- Select the EverPass app.
- Click Uninstall.
- Search for EverPass in the App Store.
- Download the EverPass Connected TV app.
- Open the EverPass app and pair it with your EverPass account if prompted.
Android TV / Google TV app
- Go to the Android home screen.
- Open Quick Settings at the top of the screen.
- Select All Settings.
- Go to Apps.
- Find the Everpass app.
- Click Uninstall.
- Go to the Google Play Store.
- Search for EverPass.
- Download the Everpass Connected TV app.
- Open the app and pair it with your EverPass account if prompted.
