Connected TV App Updates

Keeping the EverPass Connected TV app updated helps ensure the best experience on your Connected TV device. App updates may include performance improvements, bug fixes, and new features.

We recommend enabling automatic app updates when available so your device can receive EverPass Connected TV app updates without requiring manual checks.

Enable Automatic Updates

The steps to turn on automatic updates may vary by Connected TV platform.

Fire TV

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Applications.
3. Find Appstore.
4. Turn on Automatic Updates.

Android / Google TV

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Select your Profile icon.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Open Auto-update apps.
5. Ensure automatic updates are enabled.

Check for Updates Manually

If automatic updates are disabled or if you want to check for updates manually, follow the steps below.

Fire TV

1. Find the EverPass app on the homepage.
2. Press and hold the app using the remote.
3. Select More Info.
4. If an update is available, the option to update will appear.

Android TV / Google TV

1. Find the EverPass app icon on the home screen.
2. Press and hold the app using your remote.
3. Select View Details.
4. If an update is available, the option to update will appear.

If you do not see an update option, your device may already have the latest available version of the EverPass Connected TV app. You can also try restarting the device and checking again.
